INFORMATION THAT APPLIES TO EVERYONE
SPIRIT WEAR ORDERS: A separate email was sent out Monday with the Spirit Wear order form attached for those of you who expressed an interest in ordering more shirts. We must have at least 12 of one shirt before we can print another batch. Please return form without payment by Monday, December 9. We’ll let you know how much you owe if the order is placed.
ZAXBY’S FUNDRAISER: Monday, December 9, 5:00-8:00 pm (across from Chick-Fil-A)
All proceeds will be donated to the Athletic and Fine Arts departments. Future dates: Monday, January 6 and Friday, February 14
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION REHEARSAL: Tuesday, December 10, 8:30-11:00 am
We will be using the bus to transport students to the dress rehearsal. This is a normal school day - please arrive at school by 8:00 am. Do NOT take your child(ren) to the church.
PTF TEACHER/STAFF CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON & COOKIE EXCHANGE: Wednesday, December 11 - Letters with sign-up forms were emailed and sent home with students this week. Please return to the office ASAP.
ETEXTBOOKS AVAILABLE (not for Kindergarten): Friday, December 13 Deadline
Since Cornerstone uses Bob Jones’ science and history materials, they have made us a special offer where parents may purchase eTextbooks for $15.00. The eTextbooks will be available online for 16 months after you redeem the special code. Please return the order form to the office by the deadline.
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION: Friday, December 13, 6:30 pm - Manley Baptist
Participants (grades K-8/Worship Team) should arrive at 6:00 pm and dress in appropriate Sunday dress clothes (no jeans or tennis shoes).
FREE DRESS DAY: Friday, December 20
CHAPEL CHANGES: Starting in January 2014, we will be changing Chapels from Tuesdays and Wednesdays - to Thursdays at 8:05. Grammar school will meet in the foyer and Upper school will meet in the cafe.
SPIRIT WEEK!: Monday-Friday, January 6-10
Spirit Week is a time to celebrate and encourage our school’s sports teams! Please help us have a fun week by participating in each of the following special days:
Monday - Pajama Day: Students may wear pajama attire that meets the school’s modesty policy, including proper footwear (bring tennis shoes if in doubt …).
Tuesday - Twin/Triplet Day: Students may dress alike.
Wednesday - Favorite Movie/Book Character Day: Students may dress as a character from a favorite movie or book.
Thursday - Flashback Day: Students may flashback to a different decade.
Friday - Favorite Sports Team Day: Students my wear a jersey from any sports team and jeans.
Please remember that we all enjoy Spirit Week and want it to continue as a tradition each year. Therefore, remember to be modest, wear proper shoes, and not wear clothing with holes that allow skin to show through.

H3 AFTER SCHOOL CHRISTMAS CRAFT PROJECT: A huge THANKS to the over 40 kids and 9 parent volunteers that helped make 400 Blessing Jars for Hospice patients with Caris and Smokey Mountain Home Health and Hospice! We are so excited for these families to receive our jars and be blessed and comforted with the Word of God during the Christmas season. Thanks for your continued commitment and support of H3.
TUITION REMINDER: Tuition payments are due the first of the month. Payments received after the 10th of the month will incur a $25 late fee.

CARSON-NEWMAN FINANCIAL AID (Seniors): Monday, December 9, 12:30 pm - Cafe
The Financial Aid Director at Carson-Newman will be coming to meet with all seniors to answer any questions they may have about financial aid requirements and opportunities including tips on filling out the FAFSA. The FAFSA must be filed online for every student who plans to attend college. Parents are more than welcome to attend this meeting if their schedule allows.
