In Grammar School, kindergarten through sixth grade, the foundation of all learning takes place.  It is during this stage of development that the student’s cognitive ability is such that information is readily absorbed and the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic can be taught in a just-give-me-the-facts or concrete manner.  Students at this age find memorization enjoyable and are able to do it effortlessly. They have been designed by their Creator to do so.
